Who are Crazy Curt & the Fireballs? We are parents, teachers, musicians, professionals and computer geeks.
Crazy Curt is a husband and father, above all else. He is a lifelong musician, as well as an attorney. He conceived Crazy Curt and the Fireballs soon after he began writing songs for his newborn son, Michael. As Michael grew older, dad, Curt, kept pace by writing age-appropriate music for him. The happy result of this process is that Curt has written songs that appeal to children of all ages.

Jammin’ Jen is the sweet, soulful voice of Crazy Curt and the Fireballs. She is a recently married, elementary school teacher, who also happened to be a voice major in college. Grown-ups will immediately realize that Jen’s singing is not just for kids. Onstage, however, Jen easily demonstrates her affinity for children. They love her enthusiasm and her sassy attitude, and in her, they recognize a kindred spirit.

Rhythm Man is a husband and father of three girls, ages two through nine. In addition to being a drummer, he is an attorney. He judges the music of Crazy Curt and the Fireballs by the responses of his own children. “My kids are our best critics”, he says. “If they’re excited about a song, I know we’ve succeeded.” This is not the first musical project on which Rhythm Man and Crazy Curt have collaborated. Nearly thirty years ago, when both were in high school, they played together in a rock band. Now, Rhythm Man is thankful for the chance to share with his own children the various styles of music he enjoyed when he was younger.

The Shadow is a mystery. Not much is known about him, other than the fact that he has a degree in physics, and he is a computer geek. He is also a highly trained musician, and plays lead, bass guitar and piano with equal skill. The Shadow plays and records diverse styles of music, but his favorite is…

OS is also a recent newlywed. He, too, is a computer geek and designs websites. His musical passion is heavy metal. OS is our resident Karate, Aikido and Kung Fu expert. When he isn’t breaking bricks or guitar strings, he’s building muscle. You may wonder what OS is doing playing lead guitar in a band that performs children’s music. Just listen. When OS cuts loose, his stinging guitar solos add a whole new dimension to the sound of the band.

The sum of the above parts is a band that blends different personalities, specialties and interests. The common ingredients shared by each member of Crazy Curt and the Fireballs are a love of music and a love for children. We hope you enjoy the mix.
